Undo an enrolment you accepted by mistake

Where: Students & contacts → Enrolments → open the enrolment

  1. In the sidebar, open "Students & contacts" and click "Enrolments".
  2. Open the enrolment you accepted by mistake.
  3. Find "Status" and pick a new status from the list:
    • "Cancelled" if the student never really started.
    • "Withdrawn" if they started training and then left.
  4. Pick a "Reason" from the list that appears.
  5. Click "Update Status".

What happens next The change and your reason are recorded in the enrolment's status history. The course no longer shows on the student's dashboard, and any future class bookings on this enrolment are cancelled. Nothing is deleted. If you change it back to "Enrolled", their future bookings come back too.

Test records If the whole person is a test record, open their record in "Learners" and use "Archive this person" at the bottom. Their courses need to be cancelled or withdrawn first. Archiving hides them from your lists and can be undone.

If something looks wrong If the student paid, changing the status does not refund them. Handle the refund separately. Whether an enrolment should be cancelled or withdrawn can affect what is reported, so check with your compliance officer if the student did any training.
